The Cuteness Overload

I'm gonna post here, because this is one of those things I don't want anybody, who works with me, to read. There's an angel who I'm so in love with, I would pack him up in a suitcase and move to the furthest reaches of civilization just to be his mommy. He's such a big little G. Today, I was what Earth people call "sad" in human language. SO I decided to cheer myself up by surrounding myself with puppies. I go and offer them candy and a bunch of puppies followed me to my class in which they had to clean for candy. (I said this, but I didn't really care if they cleaned it, because it wasn't very messy, they just have fun energy so it cheered me up).

My new co-teacher, after one week of being in her new position, is pissing off ALL of our students. They are complaining that they don't like her and generally looking at me, like, "Who does this lady think she is, Ronni?" Perhaps I've spoiled them with the notion of mutual respect, and now they are under the impression that they deserve it from other beings as well. I also personally feel this way, but I've been treated otherwise for a major portion of my life, so maybe it'll turn out they will come to understand, that I'm the exception, and not the rule, and that no one feels obligated to respect anyone else as a human default setting.

Anyway the puppies, are not in any of her classes. She comes into the class and sees them half-ass sweeping and then coming to me to get candy and I open the box. And limit them to 3 pieces each. I like this part. They try and juke me and take more pieces than I say because they want me to fuss and/or chase them. of course, I know them, so I know THIS. But she says "Ronni! They aren't finished cleaning!" to which we all look a little taken aback, as the only person who is unaware of the game is not part of our little club. I say "Okay, go finish" and they kind of reluctantly get back to it, and My little G,Q who has already snuck more than 3 pieces of candy, and he knows I know he did comes back to get some more with sleight of hand tricks, like "Look, I only got 2!" and I know he know damn well he got 3.

Pause. My co-teacher started fussing at them and his face... L.O.L. It's funny because he's so cool. I've only ever seen him be cool and calm. He made this face like "Who is she talking to?" I wanted to laugh, but I had to be an "adult"; but his brow furrowed so incredulously when she checked him, it was so cute and funny. On the outside, I didn't react, but on the inside, I was so proud like "Awww! Look at youuu! You're not gonna take shit from anybody when you grow up!"

Thas mah baby. Don't tell nobody.
