Destiny

Depressed Miri is depressed. She's married to a vituperative king who basically wed her only to secure an alliance between his own kingdom and her father's. Miri was used as a bargaining chip to save her people from being conquered but her husband abuses her, physically, verbally and sexually. So she hates her life, but she can't kill herself  because, if she does, it means she forfeits her kingdom to his tyrannical rule. So she wastes away like a rare flower in the desert kingdom, longing and wishing for the only love she'd ever known as a young girl to come and save her. Wishful thinking? Maybe.

 I've been working on and refining this "Tiki City" concept ever since I got the option to ask AI to imaginate for me. The first two are some of the very first Midjourney prompts I ever made out of the first free 25, because I never paid after they started charging for it. Between Three different generators, the prompts are generally the same, so the AI is clearly getting better as an artist. But also, the concept of this city is getting so clear, maybe these ancestral streets exist somewhere and the portal is opening wide like the mouth of a Lion. 🤷

My second ever attempt at environment painting... It's okay :\ It's a good start I guess T_T. I need to practice... This was my point of reference. I'm  sorry I just have to confess this and get it off my chest. Completely unrelated to this painting- Big Bang is taking over my life. I don't know what on Earth is posessing me to fangirl at this maniacal, psychotic level, but I missed their concert in New Jersey a few weeks ago and it's tearing my soul apart. I regret it DEEPLY. I have NEVER felt this way about any celebrity(s), EVER. I can't even choose one bias (favorite)- It stresses me out just to think about having to choose. I love them ALL SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH that it is probably causing some irreverisble psychological damage to my mental health.
