Slow and Steady

It has been literal YEARS since I've drawn (sketched) anything or used my old tried and true art techniques. In recent years my art has taken a more 3D and Secondlife blogging approach which I became somewhat comfortable with. But ultimately after AI art became a thing, my creativity has somewhat stagnated. I wish I knew why, but all I know is I want that old passion of mine back more than anything and I'm willing to fight for it. I'm very out of practice, but fortunately not that bad at my old style. It's just that if I'd been practicing the ENTIRE time, I'd be much better at drawing. I try not to beat myself up seeing as I at least have a little bit to show for it. So today, this took me two hours on tablet to get down. I'm proud of it, but I want to color it and ultimately do some more challenging landscape work to push myself. I've all but given up on having a career in art because I've gotten older and out of practice, but I still want to love...

Nocturnal Scripture

Hey! It's been a while, but I'm back on the radar and have officially decided to start a webcomic. I've began writing the story and making character sheets. This is the first one, it's gonna be colored and there is MUCH MUCH more to come but I'm gonna DO IT! I'm gonna make a webcomic. It's gonna take a while before it's up because there is much work to be done but this blog will be updated as frequently as I can develop it. First chracter sketch is one of the main ones. Teehee. The Great Divide

My second ever attempt at environment painting... It's okay :\ It's a good start I guess T_T. I need to practice... This was my point of reference. I'm sorry I just have to confess this and get it off my chest. Completely unrelated to this painting- Big Bang is taking over my life. I don't know what on Earth is posessing me to fangirl at this maniacal, psychotic level, but I missed their concert in New Jersey a few weeks ago and it's tearing my soul apart. I regret it DEEPLY. I have NEVER felt this way about any celebrity(s), EVER. I can't even choose one bias (favorite)- It stresses me out just to think about having to choose. I love them ALL SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH that it is probably causing some irreverisble psychological damage to my mental health. I'm not the only one either- other VIP's (Big bang fans) are just as fanatic if not worse than me. You know, maybe it's good that I didn't go to the concert, I would have been shrieking, cr...
